Δ What
sort of dog is good for truffle hunting you
ask?
Even though almost any breed of
hunting dog can be used, we at Black Solitaire
Ventures
mainly utilise Labradors. Breeds such as
English Springer Spaniels,
Golden Retrievers, Weimaraners and most types of Pointers can also be used with
great success. We have years of experience in training detection dogs, which
is a completely different discipline to obedience and sight training.
Δ With our truffle
detecting dogs you can expect:
Complete
odour recognition to both real Australian
& French
truffles
High degree of realistic training
Training in a similar environment to that where they
will be deployed
Your
preferred method of reward – Food or
Play
